Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa, the charming beachfront resort offering sweeping views and a wealth of amenities, is offering some egg-stra special events for the whole family this Easter, from a brunch buffet to a visit from the Easter Bunny itself.
· Beginning at 9 a.m. on Easter Sunday, children of resort guests are invited to participate in Giant Easter Egg Cookie Decorating and a Dip Dye Easter Egg Station. Kids will also have the chance to visit the Easter Bunny who will be onsite throughout the day. Guests should confirm their participation in advance with the resort’s concierge.
· An Easter Brunch Buffet with live musical entertainment will be served in the Grand Bahama Ballroom with seating times at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The buffet will feature dishes prepared with seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients, including a seafood display of Snow Crab Claws With a Bourbon Cocktail Sauce, Ahi Poke, and Smoked Salmon. Plated entrees, including Roasted Grouper With Cedar Key Clams and Shrimp Broth; Crab Cake Benedict With Old Bay Hollandaise; 12 Hour Brined Chicken With a Spring Pea and Pearl Onion Cream; and Grilled Pork Medallions With Anson Mills Cheese Grits and Chorizo Gravy, will also be available. A Chef’s Live Action Station will serve up Rack of Lamb and Honey Glazed Ham. To finish the meal, guests can head over to the Tempting Treats Station to satisfy their dessert cravings with selections including Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Tart, Strawberry Shortcake and Chocolate Shooters, Key Lime Tart, and Coconut Tart.
