STAG’S LEAP WINE DINNER AT DEVON SEAFOOD + STEAK

Stag’s Leap’s signature winemaking style is one of exquisite balance, uniting new and old world traditions and innovations with each varietal, all the while displaying a perfect harmony of ripeness and restraint. Devon Seafood + Steak, Kendall’s boutique seafood and steakhouse, will host a special four-course wine pairing dinner with the renowned winery on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 7 – 9 PM. Taking place on the beautiful outdoor patio which boasts waterfront views of the canal, the dinner is priced at $40 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Deliciously created by Executive Chef Drew Hall, the menu with wine pairing follows:
Oysters Rockefeller – onion, celery, artichoke, drizzled with truffle bread crumbs
Carrot Soup with celery roasted Prime Ribeye, roasted walnuts and crème fraiche
Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon
Braised lamb shoulder with au gratin potatoes, tomato confit and roasted beet purée
Blackberry Brandy Zabaione – cannoli, plum sorbet
This dinner is part of Devon Seafood + Steak’s monthly tasting series at the restaurant, originally launched in 2013. Once a month, and for a prix-fixe price, the restaurant hosts a different themed event showcasing a variety of menu offerings paired with unique libations.
