Who says you can’t have dinner for lunch or lunch for dinner? Continental, South Beach’s mid-century modern global restaurant by 2017 James Beard “Outstanding Restaurateur” Stephen Starr debuted an all-day menu that runs weekdays from lunch through dinner. The menu retains Continental favorites such as Cheesesteak Egg Rolls and the Little Gem Salad along with an expanded list of craveable comfort foods. New menu items include a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with red cabbage slaw on a potato bun; Sizzling Fajitas; and Seafood Cobb Salad with poached shrimp, jumbo lump crab and avocado in a red wine vinaigrette. An expanded burger list features four options including Continental Tavern Sliders available three or six to an order that pair perfectly with classic vanilla, chocolate or strawberry milkshakes.

Continental is located on Collins Avenue in South Beach with easy access to the beach just a few blocks away, Lincoln Road, museums in Collins Park and nightlife in mid-beach. The restaurant, designed by visionary Shawn Hausman, features a front terrace with views of South Beach’s Lake Pancoast and the Helen Mar building; an interior mid-century modern dining room; and a splashy poolside courtyard complete with backyard games including oversize jenga.

The all-day menu will run Monday – Friday from lunch through dinner. Meanwhile, Continental will continue to serve breakfast from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m., Happy Hour from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. and brunch on weekends from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Valet is available in front of the restaurant for just $5.

The all-day menu is served M – Thursday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. with an afternoon menu available between 3 and 5 p.m.
