Launched on Thursday, February 2nd, Burlock Coast’s Repeal Party is destined to be Fort Lauderdale’s hottest Thursday night party. An homage to the Fort Liquordale’s wild rum running years, Burlock Coast will party like it’s 1933, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt announced the repeal of Prohibition.
Every Thursday from 10PM – late, imbibers will move to the old school beats spun by DJ Carsonicboom and sip on $8 Southern American Prohibition inspired cocktails and bites. Cocktails include The Aviation made with gin, maraschino Liqueur, crème de violette and lemon juice; El Presidente made with light rum, orange curacao, dry vermouth and grenadine; Pisco Sour with Pisco, fresh lime juice, egg white, simple syrup and bitters and a plethora of rum and gin inspired libations. On select nights complimentary spirits tastings will be available. Bite offerings include Spicy Tomatillo Dip and Chips; Pretzel Sticks with beer cheddar fondue; Spicy Pork Rinds with avocado and chipotle aioli; and Herb Foccacia with infused olive oil.
