Nationally acclaimed steakhouse BLT Prime Miami will partner with Brazilian beer makers Blondine Craft Beer for a four course dinner featuring top brews from the South American microbrewery. The beers selected for the evening were chosen by BLT Prime Miami’s Chef de Cuisine Dustin Ward; who then created a perfect pairing menu designed to complement each distinct brew.
As one of the leading craft breweries in Brazil, Blondine is pioneering the development of outstanding and innovative products in the craft beer segment. These award-winning beers – winning best in style in 2015, 2016, and 2017 during the second largest championship of craft beers in the world – are produced with pure ingredients of highest quality and without any chemicals to ensure production and quality control on an international scale. All ingredients are imported from Europe and the U.S. and brewed with care in Brazil.
The evening’s featured beers include the best seller Horny Pig Session IPA, a dry and refreshing Indian Pale Ale with strong aromas of the finest American hops and a pronounced bitterness; Best in Style winner in Brazil of 2016, the 777-Jackpot Helles, inspired by the Münchener Helles, is a golden color brew offering the perfect balance of malt and hops through its aromas and flavors with a medium-light body and slight bitterness. Selected as Best in Style in South America 2016, the Bad Moose English IPA is a style originally from the Dortmund region in Germany. This golden color and creamy foam brew offers a familiar malt aroma which is predominant to this style with bitterness and a medium body and refreshing carbonation. Lastly, Best in Style in Brazil and South America 2016, the Volcano Coffee Stout is an English beer made with selected grain 100% Arabica coffee. Its black color and creamy foam lends an intense aroma of coffee and balanced flavor with hints of toasted malt and slightly bitter chocolate.
Blondine founder Aloisio Xerfan, and U.S. importer and distributor, Wagner Moura will be in attendance. The evening will get underway at 7PM on Friday, March 24th on the restaurant’s stunning veranda overlooking the famed Blue Monster golf course (weather permitting).
