Miami has a new place to gather, and it’s much more than a restaurant. Now officially open just west of Wynwood, Zoko Collective is a 32,000-square-foot culinary and cultural destination bringing chef-driven concepts, cocktails, community programming and events together under one roof.
Inspired by the Basque tradition of the Txoko, where friends, family and neighbors gather around food and conversation, Zoko Collective offers a unique approach to dining and entertainment in Miami.
The concept comes from hospitality veteran Jerry Böck, former General Manager of Cecconi’s at Soho Beach House Miami, owner and operator of Wynwood Diner and founder of Michelin-recognized DOYA. With more than three decades in the hospitality industry, Böck created Zoko as a space where food, culture and community can come together.
Located in Allapattah, just west of Wynwood, Zoko Collective takes inspiration from the traditional Basque Txoko, a gathering place centered around cooking, conversation and community.
Rather than being tied to one restaurant or menu, guests can experience multiple concepts throughout the space. One dedicated waiter can bring offerings from different concepts directly to your table, allowing you to mix and match throughout your visit.
The current lineup includes FRA Pizza, Lovecat and Zoko Tapas, with additional concepts and collaborations expected to join the collective.
Formerly known as Fradiavolo, FRA Pizza focuses on artisan pizzas made with ingredients imported directly from Italy.
The concept brings a taste of traditional Italian pizza-making to Zoko, making it an easy choice for a casual dinner or something to share with friends before continuing the night.
For cocktails, Lovecat offers a more intimate experience centered around hospitality and storytelling.
The bar takes inspiration from classic albums, with custom artwork throughout the space and handcrafted cocktails designed to reflect the music and stories behind them. Bartenders guide guests through the cocktail experience, making Lovecat more than just a place to grab a drink.
Zoko Tapas adds another layer to the experience with shareable dishes designed for gathering. The concept fits naturally into Zoko’s overall vision of bringing people together around food and conversation.
Whether you’re stopping in for dinner, drinks or a combination of both, the variety makes it easy to create your own experience.
Zoko Collective is designed to be a destination that Miami can return to again and again.
In addition to its culinary concepts, the space will host ongoing community programming, including night markets, spirit tastings, cocktail classes, wellness sessions, literary events and live programming.
The 32,000-square-foot space can also accommodate private events, brand activations, corporate gatherings, product launches, wellness events, live music performances and full venue buyouts, with capacity for up to 820 guests.
Zoko Collective is currently open Thursday through Sunday from 6 PM to 1 AM, with happy hour from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Lovecat also hosts Industry Night on Mondays from 7 PM to 2 AM.
Located at 728 NW 29th Street in Miami, Zoko Collective is just west of Wynwood and offers another reason to explore the growing culinary scene in the area.
Whether you’re looking for dinner, cocktails, a night out with friends or a new place to experience Miami’s food and culture, Zoko Collective brings several experiences together in one destination.
