Ariete (Dine In and To Go)

This Thanksgiving, Coconut Grove eatery Ariete is offering a special Thanksgiving family-style menu available for dine-in and carryout. Guests who choose to do Thanksgiving at home can pick up “to-go kits” with ingredients and instructions to prepare an Ariete Thanksgiving at home. The delicious festive menu feeds families of 4 and 8. 

Dishes include an 8 to 12 lb turkey with croqueta stuffing and gravy; pastelitos filled with turkey fricassee; whipped mashed potatoes; a cheese ball with candied walnuts and pecans; heirloom tomato and Bibb lettuce salad; green bean casserole; cranberry jelly; Parker House rolls with whipped honey butter; cornbread stuffing; and pumpkin pie. Available at an additional cost are the truffle mac and cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts, charcuterie and cheese, and more.

Bourbon Steak (Dine In)

19999 W Country Club Dr, Aventura, FL 33180

Bourbon Steak Chef Michael Mina’s award-winning steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa will be offering a three-course prix fixe for Thanksgiving. Guests will have a choice of an appetizer, an entree accompanied by a trio of farm-fresh side dishes, and a dessert from the restaurant’s coveted daily menu. Special on the menu in celebration of the holiday are a Wood-Grilled Free Range Turkey with cornbread-foie gras stuffing, tangerine cranberry sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, cider-glazed yams, and black truffle gravy. 

Other menu favorites include prime cuts of beef such as ‘Reuben’-style bone-in short rib, filet mignon, and veal chop; ice-cold shellfish tower with oysters, shrimp, lobster, and king crab; and Spicy Beef Lettuce Cups with Thai chili and basil, sweet chili sauce, and crunchy rice. For dessert, a seasonal pumpkin pie with cinnamon marshmallow, walnut crumble, and maple ice cream has been added to the menu. 

Dinner will be served from 6 PM to 10 PM. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made on the Bourbon Steak website or by calling (786) 279-6600.

CORSAIR Kitchen & Bar (Dine In and To Go)

A contemporary American eatery, CORSAIR Kitchen & Bar is located inside the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa overlooking the golf courses. This sophisticated spot will be offering a three-course family-style Thanksgiving menu available for dine-in from 12 PM until 8 PM. 

The prix-fixe gives guests the choice of an appetizer, followed by Thanksgiving dinner for the table and an indulgent dessert platter. Appetizer options include roasted pumpkin bisque with dried pears, cinnamon cream, sage, and toasted pine nuts; salad of fall leaves with roasted beets, caramelized apples, pecans, blue cheese, and maple dressing; and prosciutto and figs with compressed melons, feta, baby arugula, and balsamic dressing. 

For the table, guests will enjoy roasted turkey breast and sliced roasted beef tenderloin served with dark meat confit, stuffing, sweet potato gratin, buttermilk mash, green beans, cranberry sauce, and turkey gravy. Desserts will include an assortment of seasonal fall pies. 

For those who prefer to celebrate the holiday at home, CORSAIR will be offering the same menu in a Thanksgiving to-go format. The restaurant will also be open at 8 AM on Thanksgiving Day and serving a la carte breakfast until 11:30 AM, followed by a lite bites bar menu until 6 PM.

Say goodbye to pre-made pie dough and hello to the Magic City’s favorite pie emporium. Fireman Derek’s is officially your one-stop shop for all Thanksgiving treats! Sweet seekers can choose from seasonal favorites such as pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, apple pie, salted caramel pie, pecan pie, carrot cake, chocolate pecan pie, and more. 

Preordering will open online on the bakery’s website, where pie purchasers can specify the preferred day/time for pick-up at either the Wynwood or Coconut Grove storefronts. Both shops will also have a limited number of pies available for last-minute purchase. Both Fireman Derek’s outposts will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar (Dine In)

1642 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33135

Those looking to break free from a traditional Thanksgiving dinner can delight in contemporary Cuban cuisine at Sala’o Cuban Restaurant & Bar, located in the heart of Calle Ocho. On offer will be Executive Chef Alejandro Porben’s inventive dishes such as Confit Smoked Pork Belly with black bean puree, maduro chimichurri, and avocado mousse; Sous Vide lobster tail with butter, paprika, and sofrito; Cornish Hen with carrot puree, tomato, baby carrot, and sautéed potato; and the fresh catch of the day, among others. 

Desserts run the gamut from condensed milk mousse to chocolate tiramisu, and the not-to-be-missed light but delicious coconut tart. Diners can also enjoy live music and vibrant gin and tonic cocktails from the tableside bar service. 

Sala’o will be open on Thanksgiving from 5 PM to 11:30 PM. You can call for reservations on (305) 642-8989.

Burlock Coast (Dine In and To Go)

This Thanksgiving, Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale is offering a family-style three-course meal with a side of stunning views of Fort Lauderdale Beach. Offered from 12 PM to 9 PM, the festive meal begins with grilled squash with pomegranate, pumpkin seeds, Humboldt Fog cheese, honey-black pepper vinaigrette, and Artichoke and baby shrimp dip with sourdough bread. 

The main course includes turkey breast roulade and confit leg and thigh, served with potato puree, stuffing, grilled broccolini, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and gravy. To finish, guests can indulge in a chocolate pecan tart and pumpkin mousse. 

Reservations are required by calling (954) 302-6430 or by emailing [email protected]. A limited a la carte menu will be available for dine-in, as well as a Bottomless Beverage package. Burlock Coast is also offering Thanksgiving to-go, which includes a whole roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, bread stuffing, creamy potato puree, green bean casserole, roasted sweet potatoes, biscuits, and pecan pie. Pick up will be on Thanksgiving Day.

Lona Cocina & Tequileria (Dine In)

Celebrate Thanksgiving with an oceanside feast at Lona Cocina & Tequileria on Fort Lauderdale Beach. On Thanksgiving Day from 11 AM to 11 PM, Lona is offering a three-course menu. To start, guests can choose between a harvest salad or pumpkin bisque; both options are served with fresh cornbread. The second course offers a traditional Thanksgiving meal with a Mexican twist: turkey breast glazed with homemade mole poblano, homemade stuffing, and green beans. 

Guests can wrap up the evening with something sweet and indulge in a choice between pumpkin pie or pecan pie. Don’t forget to ask about their specialty wines and tequila selections. For reservations, please call (954) 245-3069.
