Park Avenue’s charming boutique hotel, Vintro Hotel + Kitchen, is serving a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet at $64 per person,with all the fixings to pamper the special women in our lives. Moms are treated to complimentary bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Marys,Wines and Sangria, and the chance to win a hotel prize package, all whilebeing adorned in seasonal flowers.
Mom and her loved ones can indulge in a brunch buffet that includes breakfast meats, scrambled eggs, Caprese salad, Tortilla Española, a “Jewels of the Sea” raw bar, grilled lamb, pork or chicken, fire-grilled corn, pistachio and honey glazed Brussels sprouts, local fruits and berries, classic morning pastries and Vintro’s signature seafood paella. A-la-carte menu items include a made-to-order omelet and Vintro eggs benedict cooked with bacon Hollandaise.
Bottomless Mimosas, Bloody Marys, red wine and white sangria packages are an additional $30 per person and gratis for moms. The Mommy Raffle grand prize includes a one-night stay at Vintro Hotel and a $100 gift certificate to Vintro Kitchen. Live acoustic Spanish guitar music will accompany al fresco dining on the patio overlooking Collins Canal.
The lobby of Vintro Hotel + Kitchen ports into the restaurant, managed by 2014 James Beard Award finalist, Giorgio Bakastias. The influence of Greece and Mediterranean Italy echoes onto the tasty, yet light, ingredients that infuse each dish. The menu is reflective of the Mediterranean culture and the slow food movement with simply prepared farm-to-table plates focused on rich flavors, and seasonal and local ingredients. The rustic yet sophisticated interior features antique Cuban-tiled floors, delicate chandeliers hanging from 30-foot ceilings, and a copper timepiece from the 1700s that once resided atop a clock tower.
