Via Emilia 9 has established itself as a South Beach staple with its refreshingly authentic Italian cuisine served in a cozy atmosphere. Chef and owner Giancarlo “Wendy” Cacciatori’s regional dishes, inspired by the famed merchant road that winds through southern Italy, are crafted with the freshest imported ingredients and a healthy dose of passion. Via Emilia 9 will be offering five course tasting menus for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Priced at $65 per person, menu highlights include handmade tortellini in turkey broth, rabbit leg with Lambrusco reduction, and artisanal panettone with warm Lambrusco zabaione. Diners can ring in the New Year at Via Emilia with an over-the-top nine course menu for $85 per person including tuna carpaccio with pomegranate, risotto with shrimp and artichokes, and traditional Italian dried fruits for luck in the New Year.
Alternatively, diners are able to bring a piece of Via Emilia 9 home with them with the launch of Chef Wendy’s private chef and catering services.
