Before you begin your night out in South Beach, make your way to these restaurants for dinner.

Pubbelly

Pork lovers rejoice, as this is your must stop for a meal inspired by one of the tastiest meats on earth. This tapas-style restaurant is the original, and most group-friendly, restaurant in the Pubbelly empire, allowing you to have an interactive dinner that provides a sense of bonding with your dining mates. Sinful choices range from the popular Dates avec Chorizo and the Udon Carbonara.

Joe's Stone Crab

Only open for a set amount of months per year (due to the stone crab season), this dining mainstay has been around for over 100 years. Although they do not accept reservations, we guarantee that the fresh-as-can-be stone crab and perfectly executed service is worth any amount of waiting you may have to endure. The fact that the best Key Lime Pie in the city can be found here is only more of a reason to brave the crowds.

Khong River House

By the same family that brought you Yardbird, Khong River House offers an Asian experience different than what you'll encounter in the rest of the city. Their takes on asian cuisine blend food from Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, giving South Beach a nice change of pace from your classic dinner experience.

Tap Tap

The walls and tables display colorful scenes and landscapes, creating one of the more interesting dining atmospheres on the beach. The Haitian food served here is as authentic as can be, and locals have been ordering the stewed goat or shrimp in creole sauce for years.

Fratelli La Bufala

If you're in the mood for affordable and soul-satisfying Italian cuisine, make your way here. Food prepared using the high-burning brick oven is made with imported ingredients, giving you a sense of authenticity uncommon to other Italian restaurants in the area. The Neapolitan-style pizza and hearty pasta dishes are downright tasty, but we recommend any of their calzones, as they may easily be the best in the city.
