WHAT: Alta Maria Vineyards is the result of a longstanding friendship between viticulturist James Ontiveros, and winemaker Paul Wilkins. With shared farming philosophies and an affinity for the beauty and history of the Santa Maria Valley, join us as we chat it up with James and Paul about what it really means to be an artisan.
James and Paul make approximately 6000 cases across four glorious wines - a fantastically refreshing and tropical sauvignon blanc, a juicily hefty chardonnay and 2 glorious pinot noirs. With so many companies that focus on marketing budgets instead on tending to vines and the wines by hand, these gentlemen are bringing hand crafted wines at an approachable price.
The soiree begins at 7pm, so swap out your happy hour plans for an hour of fanciful wining and luxurious nibbling. Each of the three wines will be paired with a bite and an anecdote by the masters themselves.
Price per person is $32, plus tax and tip. Pre-purchase your ticket and get entered in a raffle for a prize at the end of the event!
