MIAMI, FL – April 5, 2022 — A bold new restaurant and bar concept has arrived in the heart of Coral Gables, inviting diners to eat outside the box and experience its daring fusion of Pan-Latin cuisines in a vibrant, warm and energizing indoor-outdoor space. Ecléctico Restaurant & Agave Bar injects the bustling Shops at Merrick Park with a much-needed dose of fun and flavor, featuring a menu of elevated Mexican staples, a fusion of globally inspired Latin tapas and a full cocktail bar, along with live entertainment, happy hour, weekend brunch and so much more.

Inspired by the art that’s all around us and the diverse Latin cultures represented in Miami, the exciting new concept opened in June of 2021 and has been serving up its refreshing blend of rich flavors and welcoming service ever since.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, Ecléctico’s menu of small and medium-sized dishes is designed to be shared, allowing guests an affordable culinary tour of its delicious Pan-Latin offerings. Highlights include the Forbidden Rice (featuring a black lotus rice base tossed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, octopus and maduros in a sofrito sauce) and the Croqueta Coqueta (a vegan croqueta made with spinach, sofrito and coconut milk and topped with habanero crystals). From the Tacositos menu, guests can select from a variety of fresh seafood platters served with toppings and sauces to customize each bite. All sauces, tortillas and seasonings are made fresh and by hand, and the menu is 95% gluten-free.
During weekend brunch, Mexican breakfast classics like Chill, Aquiles! (poached eggs, queso fresco, avocado, red onion, crispy tortilla, cilantro, jalepeño, black pepper crema) and Rancho Taquiza (8oz churrasco, poached eggs, chipotle tomato sauce, crispy Kennebec potato, avocado, red onion, corn tortilla, black pepper crema) are given the Ecléctico twist, joined by other familiar and cravable hits like the Waffly Wedded Wife (thick-cut two day house cured pork belly bacon steak and from-scratch waffles) and So Burritoful (green chicken, cilantro
rice, enchilada sauce, cheese sauce, guacamole, nata). Guests have the option of adding on bottomless mimosas, bottomless bellinis or a carafe of sangria to their meal for just $25 while jamming out to live eclectic music on the patio from 12pm to 3pm.
Core to the experience of Ecléctico is its warm, inviting atmosphere that starts with its colorful dining room covered in floor-to-ceiling murals hand painted by local artist Chady Elias. At the center is an impressive full bar stocked with more than 200 kinds of tequila and mezcal that doles out inventive craft margaritas and an assortment of craft cocktails. The entire space opens to a sprawling outdoor patio with ample shaded seating for taking in a breezy meal and cocktails surrounded by friends, family and an eclectic program of live entertainment like their famous fire shows during the weekends.
Ecléctico also boasts a generous daily happy hour from 4 to 7pm, with a selection of $5 beers, $6 wines, $7 well cocktails, $8 classic cocktails and $9 hand-crafted specialty cocktails, plus an assortment of discounted bites including the ultra-popular arepitas, street tacos, tostadas and many more.
