The Dutch Unveils New Seasonal Menu

Chef Conor Hanlon Introduces New Seasonal Menu

Chef de Cuisine Conor Hanlon of The Dutch at W South Beach Hotel & Residences, has recently unveiled a new seasonal menu of roots-inspired American fare. Hanlon, who works closely with Chef/Co-owner Andrew Carmellini, has created an array of new dishes, celebrating the flavors of fall.

New snacks and appetizers include meatballs with red sauce, pecorino and Sicilian oregano; roasted beets with horseradish, rye and smoked maple syrup; butter lettuce with citrus, avocado, buttermilk and pistachio; whole calamari with pickled peppers, garlic butter and lemon; and a flavor-packed lobster salad with Vadouvan curry, mango, cashews and coconut.

Mainplate additions include butternut squash lasagna with a sage brown butter and walnuts; red snapper, caramelized fennel, navel orange and olives; Ōra King salmon accompanied by braised greens, cauliflower and trout roe; braised lamb served with roasted root vegetables and potato puree; and a smoked pork chopwith sauerkraut, roasted apples and mustard jus.  New sides include roasted cauliflower with turmeric butter and poached raisins.

End on a sweet note with critically-acclaimed pastry chef Josh Gripper’s new fall desserts including candied yam panna cotta with gingerbread and orange sorbet;warm beignets with caramel popcorn and blueberry jam; mint chocolate chip ice cream cake with crunchy meringue and Amarena cherry, as well as a selection of seasonally-inspired housemade ice creams and pies. Signature new cocktails are also on offer including the Pumpkin Patch –Lairds applejack brandy, pumpkin puree and a touch of rosemary.

The Dutch is located inside W South Beach Hotel & Residences, 2201 Collins Avenue, in Miami Beach, Florida, 33139. Breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch is served daily from noon to 4 p.m. Dinner is served from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday – Wednesday, and from 7 p.m. to midnight, Thursday – Saturday.
