Every Monday night this June at The Café at Books & Books at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, guests will be able to indulge in classic Mediterranean cuisine featuring the freshest vegetables and fruits South Florida has to offer. The Monday dinner series has become an in-the-know hit since it was launched, now Chef Allen Susser will feature his vegetarian spin on iconic flavors from the region with freshly selected ingredients from the Adrienne Arsht Center’s weekly Monday night farmer’s market.
A chef’s menu served family style, the exotic Mediterranean-inspired dinners will take place every Monday night at 6:30PM at the café’s outdoor communal table located on 13th street. Priced at $25 per person, excluding tax and gratuity, or $36 including wine, each week promises fresh offerings reflecting local flavors as follows: Monday, June 8th – Turkey; Monday, June 22nd – Morocco; and Monday, June 29th – Portugal. On Monday, June 15th there will be a pause in the Mediterranean themed farm-to-table dinner schedule when the café hosts a special Sustainable Seafood Dinner with guest Chef Sam Gorenstein of My Ceviche.
