The Bastion Collection Retains Its Michelin Excellence in Miami for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Miami’s position as a world-class culinary destination continues to strengthen as The Bastion Collection once again secures top recognition in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. For the fifth consecutive year, the group’s flagship Miami restaurants—The Bastion Collection concepts—have retained their Michelin distinctions, reaffirming a sustained standard of excellence in South Florida’s fine dining scene.

This milestone underscores not only the consistency of the group’s culinary leadership, but also Miami’s growing influence as an international hub for Michelin-starred dining experiences.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami Retains Two Michelin Stars

Leading the announcement, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami continues its reign as the only two-Michelin-starred restaurant in South Florida.

Now marking five consecutive years at this level since the MICHELIN Guide’s arrival in Florida, the restaurant remains a benchmark for precision, artistry, and elevated French fine dining in Miami.

Under the direction of Executive Chef James Friedberg and Corporate Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone, the restaurant delivers a highly curated experience rooted in classical French technique and modern execution. Its signature open-kitchen, counter-style format offers guests an immersive view into the discipline and craftsmanship behind every dish.

The Bastion Collection has also expanded this philosophy globally, with additional Michelin-recognized locations such as L’Atelier Robuchon Geneva, further reinforcing its international culinary footprint.

Chef Friedberg emphasized consistency as the foundation of the restaurant’s success, noting the team’s ongoing commitment to carrying forward the Robuchon legacy through precision and execution.

Le Jardinier Miami Retains One Michelin Star

Also recognized in this year’s guide, Le Jardinier Miami retains its Michelin star, continuing to represent the group’s refined, ingredient-driven approach to modern dining.

A collaboration between The Bastion Collection and Chef Alain Verzeroli, Le Jardinier is known for its elegant interpretation of seasonal cuisine, highlighting vegetables, seafood, and carefully sourced meats through a contemporary French lens.

In Miami, Chef de Cuisine Mario Da Silva leads the kitchen under the mentorship of Chef Verzeroli and Chef James Friedberg, reinforcing the group’s strong emphasis on culinary development and leadership training.

Chef Da Silva highlighted the importance of mentorship and daily discipline in maintaining Michelin-level standards, crediting the shared philosophy that guides the restaurant’s evolving identity.

A Broader Vision for Michelin-Level Dining in Miami

Across its portfolio, The Bastion Collection continues to shape Miami’s fine dining landscape through a combination of legacy, innovation, and mentorship. With a total of 10 Michelin stars and 3 Michelin Keys across its global restaurants, the group remains one of the most awarded culinary organizations internationally.

Alain Verzeroli, Culinary Director of The Bastion Collection, emphasized that Miami’s success is rooted in disciplined execution and the cultivation of strong, unified teams across all levels of service and kitchen operations.

Chief Operating Officer Deleon Pinto added that maintaining Michelin recognition over time reflects the strength of the systems, leadership, and long-term vision guiding the organization’s growth.

Miami’s Continued Rise as a Global Culinary Capital

The continued success of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Le Jardinier reinforces Miami’s growing reputation as a serious contender on the global fine dining stage. Once considered a developing culinary city, Miami now stands alongside established international destinations with multiple Michelin-starred restaurants and globally recognized chefs.

For The Bastion Collection, this recognition is both a milestone and a motivation to continue expanding its influence while preserving the discipline and craftsmanship that define its identity.

As Miami’s dining scene evolves, the group remains focused on mentorship, excellence, and delivering experiences that meet the highest international standards of hospitality and cuisine.
