SuperMarket Creative will transform Studio 743’s special event space into the location for its highly anticipated “Beam Me Up” Halloween costume bash on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. For seven consecutive years, SuperMarket Creative, along with partners Veni Vidi Vici, Sweat Records, Spinello Projects, has produced the most anticipated Halloween party in Miami with its annual era-themed events. This year, the company is joined by Miami tastemakers including but not limited to: Miami’s Independent Thinkers, TARA, Ink., Contesta Rock Hair, Kryogenifex and Soul of Miami.
Guests will experience a fashion-forward space disco atmosphere, posing alongside SuperMarket’s famous ‘Land on the Moon’-inspired vignette, which has proven to be one of the fete’s most popular features, photographed by Stian Roenning. A photo backdrop illustrated by Jessy Nite, will serve as an artistic alternative to a step-and-repeat. The studio will feature retro-galactic and futuristic live video, mixed with a Tron-like decorative installation by Monica and Tasha Lopez De Victoria (known as the TM Sisters), curated by Anthony Spinello, Spinello Projects. DJs for the evening include Ess & Emm, Mister Drake, Lolo, Bonnie Beats and The Kid with a slew of local guest acts. Patrons will enjoy complimentary Dos Equis and Herradura cocktails from 9 to 10 p.m.
