There are so many sushi places in Miami but a very few selection has good sushi and rolls. I have never been at RA Sushi Bar Restaurant so when I came across their booth at the United Way Miami Wine & Food Festival I was eager to try their rolls.
This delicious roll is handmade with crab mix, shrimp & cucumber rolled & topped with crunchy tempura bits; drizzled with a sweet eel sauce. The crab was abundant which it is one of the things I think it will make or brake a roll (I dislike when restaurants skimp on crab meat on rolls). The cucumber was crunchy, watery and fresh and added that liquid brake to the roll and the tempura bits finished the roll perfectly.
I could have literally ate a thousand of these rolls but there was a lot to try at the United Way Miami Wine & Food Festival that was hosted at the Village of Merrick Park so I paced myself to make sure I was going to have room for all of the restaurants I have not tried before.
