DAVIE, FLA – February 2012 -- Cookies by Shar, a national gourmet bakery specializing in scrumptious, artfully designed and homemade sugar cookies, will exhibit at the Party Impossible special event – sponsored by the Epicure Gourmet Market & Café -- during this year’s South Beach Food Network’s Wine & Food Festival.
For the fourth year in a row, Cookies by Shar displayed her whimsical cookie collection and handed out samples. In addition, Cookies by Shar will create one-of-a-kind cookies – in the shape of custom made wine glasses among others -- for some of the nation's most prestigious wine makers.

At the event, Melwani launched the company’s new line of unique sandwich cookies – two -1.25 inch sugar cookies filled with interesting homemade buttercream combinations: “The Sobe” features salted caramel buttercream between two sugar cookies, “The Very Vanilla” is made with vanilla buttercream between two gingerbread cookies, and “The Nutty Hazelnut” is filled with a rich hazelnut buttercream between two sugar cookies. “These are flavors your grandmother dreamed of and we have upped the ante with fresh flavor profiles and combinations that makes this new sandwich cookie line truly different,” says Melwani. The sandwich cookies are priced at $2.75 each and $8.99 for an assorted box of three. Additionally, Melwani featured the “Key Lime Sugar Cookie Pop” – a homemade sugar cookie made with a fresh key lime glaze and key lime flavored sugar and mounted on a popsicle stick. “It is a twist on an old classic! These cookies are made from scratch with all-natural ingredients and we anticipate attendees at this event being wowed.” Price is $1.99.
