Bread + Butter’s Chef/Owner Alberto Cabrera will be offering their delicious a la carte brunch, along with $16 Bottomless Chismosas (guava mimosas), plus a complimentary Pastelito Bar, featuring housemade versions of Cuban classics.
Cabrera’s menu of modern-Cuban delicacies, done brunch-style include Plates ($5-$15) such as Homemade Maduro Plantain-Pecan Bread with salted butter; Ropa Vieja Hash – confit fingerling potatoes, soft poached egg, arugula and hollandaise sauce; Fried Chicken & Biscuits with cheddar cheese and tocino (bacon)gravy; Cuban French Toast topped with pecans, crispy bacon and guava-maple syrup; Shrimp & Grits – Anson Mills cheesy grits, enchilado de camaron, maduro relish and chives and Crispy Porchetta – yuca con mojo, grainy mustard vinaigrette, baby mustard greens; Cuban Omelet with ham, onions, maduros, potato, garlic aioli and arugula; B+B Sammy – a sunny egg, salted pork belly, American cheese, heirloom tomato, watercress and white Pullman; and McFruffin – a frita patty, sunny side up egg, Vermont cheddar cheese and English muffin. Made to order Omelets ($9) with homefries and tostada, as well as Panaderia Cubana ($2-$8) featuring chorizo or guava-strawberry Pastelitos, Media Noche Croquetas and slightly sweet Pan Con Mantequilla with butter, goats butter, preserved lemon butter, or garlic butter are also available.
