Peruvian haute cuisine has grown exponentially in the U.S. within the last year due to the rising consumer desire to enjoy ethnic food and drinks from around the globe. Portón, the flavorful and versatile ultra-premium white spirit from Peru, today announced a strategic partnership with The Peruvian American Chef’s Association (P.A.CH.A), a culinary organization comprised of nearly 1,000 esteemed Peruvian chefs who represent the Peruvian Embassy through exclusive gastronomic events in the U.S.
To kick-off the collaboration, Portón will participate in the Third Annual Taste of Peru Gastronomic Festival presented by the Peruvian American Chamber of Commerce of South Miami Florida on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11. The exciting two-day festival will bring together more than 100 exhibitors, including restaurants and renowned chefs from both Peru and the U.S., to celebrate the food, drink and culture of Peru. Additionally, Portón Master Distiller, Johnny Schuler, will co-host an educational panel discussion with chefs about Portón and its versatility on Friday, November 9.
