Why We Love This
Peacock Garden Café oozes old Florida charm with a brick-paved patio that encourages a long leisurely meal amidst lush greenery.
The menu showcases a garden-fresh mentality, featuring fruit from Hanshaw Farms as well as vegetables and herbs from the on-site garden.
This café’s cozy bar area reads more like a Palm Beach mansion’s sun room, the perfect place for lounging on country-chic daybeds or whiling away the hours on a comfy stool.
At the Peacock Garden Café in Coconut Grove, a charming outdoor terrace is just the spot to enjoy locally procured, garden-variety fare from Chef Oscar Del Rivero.
Gilt City members can choose from lunch for two in the garden, including a shared appetizer and a selection of two entrees and desserts. Or pick a preference from an array of libations—a bottle of house red or white wine, a pitcher of sangria, four cocktails, or four bottles of Yuengling or Orange Blossom Ale—with two appetizers to accompany those drinks.
Start with the char-grilled artichoke served alongside a creamy blue cheese dipping sauce, and flatbread studded with bright green asparagus and aged prosciutto. That is, if you can resist their famous “picnic board,” covered with cured meats and cheeses. Then move on to a spicy Florida Keys–inspired fish sandwich, or a juicy skirt steak perched atop a massive Greek salad, filled with fresh veggies and chunks of feta cheese.
There’s nothing contrary about how this garden grows. Get Coupon
