WHO: Owner Steve Haas of City Hall – The Restaurant, the new bustling eatery on Biscayne Boulevard has partnered with Lights Out Miami to host a night of dining in the dark. Without sight, diners will rely on their other senses to blindly experience the delicious American brasserie style cuisine of executive chef Tom Azar. To make things even more exciting for guests, City Hall’s wait staff will be outfitted with night-vision goggles to help guide diners through the experience.
The evening will benefit the non-profit organization, Ability Explosion, which is dedicated to raising awareness and bettering the lives of individuals with disabilities.
WHAT: Lights Out Miami will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at more than 100 local restaurants, that will offer multiple course wine paired dinners in the dark. Guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres upon arrival and once seated at their dinner table, they will be blindfolded while served a three course, wine-paired mystery dinner. Those who have the savviest taste buds will be awarded a special prize.
WHEN/WHERE: Specially priced at $85 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, the Lights Out Miami dinner at City Hall will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The restaurant is located at 2004 Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami.
