Joey’s Italian Cafe, located in the chic and trendy Wynwood arts district, invites guests to celebrate Easter in an intimate setting while enjoying innovative Italian culinary delights. Inspired by the flavors of his native country, Italian born chef, Ivo Mazzon, has created an assortment of a la carte Easter Specials featuring a selection of festive, classic Italian dishes. To complement the sumptuous feast, Joey’s is also offering a wine special featuring Brolo Campofiorin - a 2008 blend from Verona priced at $50 per bottle.
Start off with traditional potato leek soup ($6), followed by a choice of flavorful appetizers including
Buffala Mozzarella with hard boiled eggs, green beans, yellow tomato & endive salad ($16) or
Fish Croquettes served with housemade tartar sauce & fried sage ($14).
Mainplate offerings include Gnocchi filled with shredded roasted goose in fennel infused sauce ($20);
Risotto with saffron & shrimp sauce ($24); Whole Polenta Crusted Snapper served with parsley lemon potato ($26); Assorted Grill Platter - shrimp, cuttlefish, swordfish & scallops, polenta & julienne vegetables ($30); Grilled Lamb Chops served with mint jelly & butter truffle baked potato ($28); or Sliced Duck Breast in sweet & sour apple sauce with cauliflower au gratin ($26).
To top off this festive meal with a sweet treat, diners can indulge in a classic Italian Easter Bread with vanilla gelato ($8).
