Boston and Miami Restaurants Settle the Score
Now that the Boston Celtics have been sent packing from the NBA Playoffs with their second round loss to the Miami Heat, the sister owners from Nebo Restaurant in Boston’s North End are paying the price for their Celtics pride. After losing their friendly bet on the playoff series with Lincoln Road’s Sosta Pizzeria Enotecta, Nebo owners/chefs Carla and Christine Pallotta were forced to wear hated Heat jerseys at their restaurant while bringing the heat by serving up twin chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro’s spicy Diavola pizza.
“It was embarrassing,” said Christine Pallotta. “We’re die-hard Celtics fans and our restaurant is just steps away from the Garden. But we’re true to our word and held up our end of the deal.”
