Ok so Coconut Grove will be celebrating their 48th anniversary in 2011. It is one of the nations leading outdoor fine Arts Festivals. This event showcases over 360 most talented artists and craftsmen from around the world. One of the most anticipated events on the South Florida event Calendar.
The Arts Festival offers visitors the opportunity to meet with the artist who created the masterpiece, sample fine cuisine from the best restaurants in South Florida, and enjoy live music as you walk around an enjoy the excellent art work.
Also what I found that was interesting was that this whole event is funded through Coconut Grove Arts & Historical Association Inc. Which is a non profit organization that helps artist get there art work out to the public.
The Festival is held in the streets of Coconut Grove, Florida. It’s a small village within the city of Miami. The Festival is located just south of downtown Miami right there next to Biscayne Bay. Running along the streets of McFarlane, South Bayshore Drive and Pan American Drive. For those of you who are not familiar with this area here is the address of the event so you can punch it in your GPS 3390 Mary Street, Coconut Grove Fl 33133.
The event will be held on February 19, 20,& 21 of 2011. It only cost $10 per person per day. Children 12 and under, Metrorail Golden Passport and Patriot Passport Holders are free. This sounds like a great event so hope everyone can make it and support our local artist
