Sunlife Stadium’s New Menu Options

Football season is upon us, and Sunlife Stadium has taken it upon itself to update its food selections in order to make the fan base’s experience that much better. Nothing is better than enjoying delicious food while watching some world-class sports, but until recently, people were restricted to buying expensive and generic food at the stadium. Finding quality food was a struggle at Sunlife, and people were constrained to either sneaking stuff in, or settling with limp and flavorless hotdogs with stale bread, overdone burgers with less than fresh produce, or frozen chicken fingers.

Now, Sunlife has begun partnering with local favorites in order to offer quality food at affordable prices to make for the best sports experience in the industry. We were invited in order to check out the new offerings that the stadium has and were quite impressed with everything that was added. Contracts were signed with recognizable restaurants in efforts to give people a gourmet version of their favorite sports-watching foods. Whether it be chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, or even desserts, the selections at Sunlife have been extended to include high-quality and affordable choices that will bring your experience to the next level.

We were most impressed with the recent addition of Michelle Bernstein’s Crumb on Parchment, a sandwich and salad friendly concept that prides itself on using pristine ingredients and quality produce. After sampling the Crumb Turkey sandwich, composed of sous vide free range turkey, cheddar, greens, and mayo on a pretzel roll, and The Vegetarian, made of carrots, pickled radish, sprouts, avocado, and cheddar, on a seedy grainy bread, we left with the impression that sports don’t necessarily have to be paired with greasy fried food and instead can be matched with healthy options for a great event. For those more favorable on the greasy fried food (which also happens to be perfect to indulge in with beer), new options include Bru’s Room, Bokampers, and BurgerFi for some of the best wings and burgers you can find in South Florida. Bru’s Room and Bokamper’s wings were crisp and expertly fried, paired with tasty sauces that complemented the juicy and plump texture of the meat. In contrast, the burgers from BurgerFi, whether it is the beef or vegetarian option, were juicy and satisfying in a gourmet sense, which is much different than what the stadium offered before. New options also include Sushi Maki, Cold Stone, and Cuban Guys, giving fans the option of indulging in whatever they are craving.
Leaving the tasting, we were eager to return during an actual football game. We felt like although the food was incredible, it would be even better while watching America’s favorite sport. It was always fun to watch football at the stadium, but now it is an incredible experience that sets Sunlife Stadium apart from other football venues.
