South Beach Seafood Festival

The South Beach Seafood festival is an annual event which occurs every October highlighting different restaurants in the area and their seafood offerings. By stressing local eateries, the festival has always been about bring attention towards Miami businesses and what they serve. The Seafood Festival offers fun for the whole family with entertainment in the form of live music from local bands, culinary and cocktail demonstrations, interactive activities, and much more. Obviously, those attending will have the opportunity to purchase seafood from all over 10 restaurants priced at different price points. There is even a kid’s zone that will provide young ones with a culinary experience that will keep them entertained.

There are a few ticket options to provide a range of experiences depending on what you are looking for. For 2014, General Admission ($25) includes entrance and access to all the entertainment available. The Seafood lovers Pass ($50) includes the same plus $30 worth of food vouchers that can be used to purchase tastings from the vendors. The Premier All Access Pass ($150) allows access to the Hospitality Village, which will feature surprises under an air conditioned pavilion, 5 full open bars, access to an exclusive outdoor lounge, and $40 worth of food vouchers.

For those planning on getting more involved, events featured by the festival are held from earlier in the week, such as 2014’s Joe’s Stone Crab Kick Off Dinner party, the “Seafood and Sneakers” Ball, and the Seafood Shuffle. These events are more exclusive (and pricier), but they offer the opportunity to dine and mingle like a star in a South Beach ambiance while indulging in the best seafood the city has to offer.
