Miami Spice at Toro Toro

Invigorate your soul at Summer's Last Super Moon Yoga

Find your flow with a special edition of Full Moon Yoga, Summer's Last Super Moon Yoga led by Papa Guru Nicolay Del Salto on Thursday, August 11.  Join us on the hotel’s iconic SkyLawn at 7PM to align your chakras with a meaningful Soul Connection Concert with Emilia and Songbird. Priced at $36, enjoy healing with sound bowl meditation – a deep meditation weaving mantra and meditation and more, while enjoying views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. Summer Fit Series Continues

Get on your feet in August with a new way to workout at the hotel’s SkyLawn. Intercontinental Miami is hosting a Summer Fit Series led by fitness instructor and influencer Omar González (@rebolaxe). This month, the series continues with four group master classes highlighting Brazilian and Latin rhythms, functional exercises and surprise entertainment, allowing guests to have a full wellness experience in a fun atmosphere. Paws Patio

Dogs and their owners ready to mingle, need look no further than the InterContinental’s Bayside Terrace, which becomes Paws Patio every Wednesday evening from 5PM to 7PM. The open-air event is free and open to the public. Water bowls are on hand for all canines, while adults can enjoy Dirty Dog Martinis, Mutt Mules and other libations from the cash bar.

Salsa Night Hosted by Salsa Lovers

Dance to express and dress to impress as InterContinental Miami hosts the hottest Salsa Night in downtown Miami in collaboration with Salsa Lovers. On Friday, August 5 and the first Friday of each month, from 9PM to 2AM. Guests will be transported monthly to a night in Havana via the hotel’s Chopin Ballroom for an evening of dancing, entertainment, and libations. From novice to experienced dancers – and even those who just want to enjoy the music – the free to attend for ladies ($10 cover for men at the door) evening will also feature DJ Jorge Charun spinning Salsa classics, performances and master dance instruction by Salsa Lovers. Fuego Nights at Toro Toro
Light up the night at Toro Toro with the ultimate dining experience. Starting Friday, August 19th and every Friday after that, fire dancers will be bringing the heat throughout Toro Toro with performances every 30 minutes. Noche de Arte- Art Residency featuring Ignacio Font
Taking place on Monday, August 8^th and every Monday thereafter from 5PM to 7PM, Noche de Art, a weekly Art Residency featuring local artists painting live continues with award-winning artist Ignacio Font. Originally from Puerto Rico, Ignacio moved to Miami and later earned an education in Miami and New York. Ignacio is most known for his contemporary works, driving inspiration from a Jackson Pollock painting. Currently, Ignacio teaches art at a private school in Miami, and creates art whenever and wherever he can. With the support of local Miami arts organization Font Squared, the InterContinental Miami is featuring live artist interaction with Ignacio, and the creation of live art onsite in the lobby of the hotel with works available for purchase. The event is free and open to the public.
