Sienna Tavern South Beach Launches New Gelato-To-Go Offering

Siena Tavern South Beach, is proud to announce its recent partnership with South Florida-based non-profit organization Lauren’s Kids for the entire month of April—Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Siena Tavern has generously offered to give 20 percent of the recently launched Gelato- To-Go proceeds to Lauren’s Kids, whose mission is to prevent sexual abuse through education and awareness, and to help survivors heal with guidance and support. Lauren Book, M.S.Ed., founder and CEO of Lauren’s Kids, was a victim of childhood sexual abuse for six years at the hands of her female nanny. Knowing that 95 percent of sexual abuse is preventable through education and awareness, Lauren has worked to turn her horrific personal experience into a vehicle to prevent childhood sexual abuse and help other survivors heal. Every year, Lauren embarks on a 1,500-mile statewide walk across Florida to bring awareness and promote change. In the summer, Siena Tavern will host a Gelato Party to celebrate the success of the Gelato-To-Go fundraiser and the wonderful community that has participated. The Lauren’s Kids team along with volunteers and children will attend this fun event. Gelato-To-Go is a new option for Siena Tavern lovers. Instead of dining in and waiting for dessert, you can pick up some fresh gelato and eat it in the comfort of your home. Available by the pint, customers can take home any flavor on the menu, including: vanilla bean, double chocolate, salted caramel, hazelnut, pistachio and creme brulee for 1-for-$10.
