About Seed Food & Wine Festival

Seed Food & Wine Festival, the nation’s premiere plant-based food event of its kind, gathers an unparalleled group of more than 60 plant-based chefs, athletes, authors and celebrities for the festival’s third year. Events on November 2nd-6th, 2016, include upscale dinners, fitness events and the nation’s first Plant-Based Burger Battle™. We have a lot more events and dinners this year including two dinners highlighting the best plant-based chefs in the country with "Best of The East" and "Best of The West" and we will also have the Seed Summit, a two day workshop and retreat for those in the plant-based world from bloggers to entrepreneurs.

SEED celebrates conscious, sustainable living and plant-based foods, fine wine, craft beer and spirits, lifestyle products and companies, all while raising health awareness, having fun and keeping a sense of humor in glorious sun-soaked Miami Beach and Wynwood. Over 9,000 culinary and conscious living enthusiasts will take part in the five days of the festival. As part of its mission to raise awareness of conscious living in a heady, fun-filled environment, SEED hosts the nation’s first Plant-Based Burger Battle™ presented by Whole Foods and Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort on Thursday, November 5th.

Chefs from restaurants around the country, including Sun Café (Los Angeles), Next Level Burger (Bend, OR), Arlo’s (Austin), jugofresh (Miami) della test kitchen (Miami) and Malibu Farms at Eden Roc (Miami Beach) will compete. Judges of the battle will include Lee Schrager, founder and executive director of South Beach Wine & Food Festival, four-time NBA champion John Salley and Sef Gonzalez, Miami-based “Burger Beast” blogger and founder of the soon-to-open Burger Museum.

Media is invited to join us at Seed Food and Wine Festival's Seed Summit at Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc Miami Beach for 2 days of workshops and panels from November 3-4, designed for content creators, bloggers, entrepreneurs and influencers in conscious, sustainable and vegan living! There will be 20 workshops and panels over the two days covering everything from social media trends, crowd-funding, getting published, food styling, building your brand, the future of brand ambassadors and social influencers, copyright law, photo retouching 101 and more.
