Sam Gorenstein gained experience working in New York and Miami kitchens including Les Halles, Union Pacific, and Michael’s Genuine Restaurant. One of his jobs landed him as poissonier ay BLT Fish in New York, where he became enamored and passionate about fish. Through his work at BLT Fish, the restaurant received a three-star review from The New York Times and was granted a Michelin star. Because of his newfound passion in seafood, Gorenstein eventually ventured of with his business partner, Roger Duarte, to open My Ceviche, a small and casual seafood joint dedicated to serving Miami’s freshest and most delicious seafood, in South Beach and Brickell. Sam Gorenstein is a two-time semi-finalist for Rising Star Chef.
