Once in a while I meet my friend Lui for a walk, window shopping - and some real shopping happens after too many glasses of whatever the choice of wine is on that day. This time it was time to pay a visit to Lincoln road, this is our classic meet up spot but we have not done in a long, long time, probably about a year or so.
After being indecisive for thirty minutes, we both agreed that Rosa Mexicano was going to be a good choice for us. It was a hot, steamy afternoon as you can imagine in the middle of May in Miami (no rain, thank god), and nothing sounded better than fresh Mexican cuisine.
As soon as we entered we were sat down, which is great because Lui and I are anxious when it comes to have a glass of chilled wine and a light lunch in the middle of the heat. After looking at the menu and with a glass of wine in our hands we decided to share the ceviche de atun y camarones.
This ceviche was fresh and came out the kitchen pretty quickly. The Atun (Tuna) was impeccably fresh and it was citrus-marinated and you were able to taste the chipotle chili and onions notes that came in the sauce.
I like the whole ambiance at the newly opened Rosa Mexicano Restaurant on Lincoln Rd. (I think they opened just a few months ago). Plus they have a great location being on the corner of Alton and Lincoln Rd.
