MIAMI, FL – March 24, 2022 — Playa is pleased to announce its new weekend brunch offerings, now available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am until 4 pm… Ideal for kicking off the weekend, reminiscing about last night’s festivities, or, unwinding before the start of a new week, brunch at Playa delivers on all fronts. Executive Chef Jon Wilson has curated a one-of-a-kind menu, serving up decadent Southern twists on Mediterranean classics, plus plenty of plant-based options and more. Playa welcomes guests to come experience some rise-and-shine revelry with a curated selection of boozy beverages and farm-to-table entrées that nod to the restaurant’s Southern roots.
For diners seeking those staple brunch items, expect creative mashups of Southern and Mediterranean fare, like Peach Cobbler Waffles & Chicken and 4 Cheese Creamy Shrimp & Grits. From the Farm-to-Table section of the menu, choose from a variety of mouth-watering dishes such as the Eggs & Bacon (scrambled, sunny side, fried applewood bacon & cajun potatoes) and Steak & Eggs (8oz center cut top sirloin filet & cajun potatoes). Savory offerings include Avocado Toast, Fried Catfish Sandwich, Bagel & Lox, or the Brunch Flatbread, prepared with roasted tomato & basil sauce, chicken sausage & scrambled eggs. On the sweeter end of the menu, try the Cinnamon Crunch Vanilla French Toast Sandwich for a sweet, pre-noon treat!
Playa’s brunch menu also boasts fresh and delectable seafood dishes including the Seafood Tower, literally, a sea-food lover’s utopia, stacked with jumbo shrimp, Maine lobster, oysters, & crab legs. Cocktail Shrimp and Oysters of the Day round out the restaurant’s ample raw bar offerings. If guests are in the mood for omelets, they can indulge in the Stuffed Salmon Omelet or the Mykonos, prepared with green onions, mushrooms, baby spinach, feta & goat cheese.

Guests have the option to request outdoor dining in their reservation notes, but the limited tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
