Since its humble beginnings in 2011, Phuc Yea has paved the way for talented and creative restaurateurs. What started as a small pop-up shop has transformed over the years into a Miami restaurant staple, with regular program and menu updates, a growing customer base and an extensive list of culinary accolades and recognitions. With all the challenges 2020 has brought, Phuc Yea’s owners felt there was no better time to help bring attention to two incredible restaurant concepts in their early phases. With Peacock Ramen’s delectable Asian cuisine and OORI Bake Shop’s melt-in-your-mouth sweets and baked treats, Miami foodies will get to explore two new additions to the local food scene. It’s a win for the pop-ups, who may soon become local household names, and a win for the community.
Chef Cesar Zapata invites Chef Harold Ruiz of Peacock Ramen and Chef Helen Kimchi OORI Bake Shop to his kitchen for a friendly pop-up showdown offering a three-course menu for $45, served family-style with desserts and decadent cocktail pairings by Phuc Yea co-owner and cocktail whiz, Aniece Meinhold.
