Kush Hospitality

LoKal by Kush

LoKal, pronounced [lo-ka’l], by KUSH Hospitality Group (KHG) opened its doors December 2011 and quickly gained popularity. Inspired by the German word for restaurant and meeting place, LoKal lives up to its definition by being a gathering spot for locals and their furry friends. The Doggy Menu offers pups the chance to indulge in the Chichi Get The Meatloaf ($5), made with Homemade Meatloaf w/Egg and Tomato Puree; and the Yeyo’s Chicken & Rice (5), prepared with grilled Florida chicken, brown rice, carrots, and peas. Your dog can wash this down with a Bowser Beer ($5) a non-alcoholic beer served over ice. For owners, the menu of burgers, sandwiches and salads features ingredients from Floridian farmers, dairies and brewers in order to highlight the bounty of produce, meats, products and goods from the Sunshine State. LoKal was the first restaurant in Miami-Dade County to use 100% clean, renewable energy sourced from wind and solar power, and embodies KHG’s philosophy and a dedication to farm-to-table cookery. LoKal is located at 3190 Commodore Plaza in Coconut Grove. Telephone: (305) 442-3377; kushhospitality.com.

Kush Wynwood

Hoping to educate and help grow the local craft beer community, KUSH Hospitality Group (KHG) decided to open an exclusive craft beer bar unlike any other in South Florida; Kush Wynwood. With the focus on beer knowledge, the belief behind the concept is that a properly crafted beer is a work of art. This pet-friendly dining destination has a table outside with you and your pups name on it and a select menu made just for your furry friend. From the pet-friendly menu guests can order their dogs dishes like Chichi’s Chicken & Rice ($5), that is made with grilled chicken, brown rice, carrots, and peas. The restaurants mission is to marry quality craft beers, locally sourced food, and engaging works created by visionary local artists all under one roof. For the dog owners, the beer menu consists of eighteen taps, one nitro tap, seasonal casks, and an aged and reserve bottle list plus an exclusive selection of small production wines. A reflection of the neighboring Wynwood Arts District, KUSH’s décor features artworks created by local artists creating a multi-sensory experience for its diners. Kush Wynwood is located at 2003 North Miami Avenue in Miami. Telephone: (305) 576-4500; kushhospitality.com.

Kush Coconut Grove
