Embracing the hearty flavors of winter, executive chef Nina Compton has recently introduced new seasonal menu items and now culinary enthusiasts have a new reason to visit Scarpetta, Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s highly acclaimed, AAA four diamond, award-winning restaurant.
New additions to the “Primi Patti” portion of the menu include the Tuna Bresaola, which is made with melons, baby basil and focaccia crotons ($17); and Roasted Cauliflower Soup, rich with chunks of lobster, rock shrimp, clams and Brussels sprouts ($18). New “Pasta” options include Butternut Squash Raviolini, with veal cheeks, and broccoli rave pesto ($24); and Pici, a delicious dish of lobster, calabrese chilis and nduja sausage ($34). Rounding out the new menu items is the Long Island Duck from the “Piatti Posrtti” portion of the menu, seared with baby carrots, mustard greens and sour cherry jus ($33).
