City Hall – The Restaurant, Biscayne Boulevard’s down-home, brasserie-style dining destination owned by Steve Haas, is giving guests another reason to celebrate this holiday season, with the launch of a special Pre & Après Performance Menu, an exciting new Happy Hour and a Power Lunch, where guests can indulge in delicious libations and cuisine tailored to their schedule, by famed executive chef Tom Azar.
Just in time for the cool winter weather and to tie-in with the stellar line-up of performances and events to be held at neighborhood venues, City Hall has recently introduced a Pre & Après Performance Menu. Offered seven days a week - available before and after every show - from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. til closing, the performance-oriented menu is priced at $35 per person, excluding tax & gratuity. The three-course menu features a delicious seafood & Andouille gumbo served with steamed rice and chives; braised beef short rib stuffed potato skins with talleggio cheese, Swiss chard, horseradish aioli and tomato marmalade; house blend meatloaf with house-made gravy, served with chorizo and maple mac ‘n’ cheese, baby French green beans with a fried onion crust; and crispy country fried chicken with local honey, red skin mashed potatoes, corn and bacon with a natural pan gravy. Must-try desserts include a carrot cake and chocolate mousse crunch cake, among other decadent selections.
Currently in place, City Hall’s delectable, three-course Power Lunch pre-fixe menu, served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., is priced at an affordable $22 per person (excluding tax & gratuity). Menu items range from shrimp po’boy - crispy fried shrimp, lettuce, tomato, onion, served on a hoagie roll and a turkey burger with fontina cheese, mushrooms, spinach and tomato aioli; seared North Atlantic salmon salad, comprised of mixed greens, grapes, strawberries, red onion, radishes, sunflower seeds and drizzled with a passion fruit vinaigrette. Desserts include a delightful apple cheesecake.
In addition, the restaurant has just rolled out a not-to-be-missed Happy Hour. Offered every Friday from
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. until midnight it consists of specially priced imported beer, select wine by the glass, and hand-crafted cocktails and martinis. Guests can pair their favorite libations with bar bites, including City Hall’s specialty sliders - a house burger, pastrami, corned beef, BBQ brisket, or the Reuben sandwich - priced at $5 each or 3 for $12. City Hall’s mouth-watering pizzas are half-priced and Azar’s scrumptious honey-glazed chicken wings are priced at 6 for $6.
