Celebrate National Oyster Day with a bit of bubbly at The Dutch at W South Beach Hotel & Residences. The restaurant is offering their “Oysters & Bubbles” all day long! Normally available only in the evening, diners can slurp and sip all day with a variety of west and east coast oysters at half- price (regular price $3.50-$1.50) from the Oyster Room along with half-price Champagne by the glass.

The Rusty Pelican, known for its dazzling waterfront views, is inviting diners to join them for National Oyster Day specials all day along with oyster inspired dishes. During brunch, diners can enjoy an oyster bar featuring a wide selection of the briny mollusks from both East and West coasts at 50% off (prices ranging from $1-$2). For brunch and dinner they will be featuring fun oyster shooters, along with a Bloody Mary Bar and Champagne. Half-price oyster specials continue for dinner. If raw oysters aren’t your thing, you can enjoy a new favorite on the menu by Executive Chef Jim Pastor — the King Caesar Oyster Duo with passionfruit and Fresno peppers/ crispy buttermilk batter and coriander ($16).

Fort Lauderdale’s favorite seafood spot Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grill is joining forces with Venice Magazine on National Oyster Day for an evening filled with fun, food and booze. Bigger and better than ever, this year’s celebration will be from 7PM-10PM.  Tickets are $45 per person for all the raw oysters you can eat along with two libations; choose from either Blue Point Toasted Lager or Taittinger Champagne. Additional drinks and delicious bar bites by Executive Chef Toby Joseph will also be available for purchase. The celebration will kick off with live DJ entertainment. Guests up for a challenge can participate in an oyster eating contest. The friendly competition will take place at 9PM. The winners will receive gift cards to Wild Sea: $50 (3 rd place), $100 (2 nd place) and a coveted grand prize of $150.
