Morimoto South Beach Miami Spice Menu

Biweekly Miami Spice menus feature Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto favorites

Morimoto South Beach brings the excitement of its innovative Japanese cuisine to its first biweekly Miami Spice menus. Guests can stop in for lunch Monday-Friday or dinner Sunday-Thursday beginning August 1 and enjoy Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto first Miami Spice experience at his South Beach flagship.

The first round of menus will be available August 1-16 and September 1-13 and include a lunch and dinner menu. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal for lunch (12 p.m. – 3 p.m.) that starts off with a Mizuna Salad, followed by the choice of a Wagyu Burger, Mori Cristo, Kakuni or a Sushi Tasting, followed by a Tofu Cheesecake served with kuromitsu cream and blueberry white chocolate sorbet. Dinner menu appetizers include Hamachi Tacos, Mizuna Salad, Tempura Calamari Salad and a Sushi Tasting consisting of chef’s selection of fresh nigiri and maki. Guests can then choose from a selection of four main dishes, including a Braised Black Cod, Morimoto Pork Chop with Applesauce, Seafood Toban Yaki consisting of assorted seafood served in red miso sake broth, or Ishi Yaki Buri Bop, a delicious yellowtail served on rice cooked at your table in a hot stone bowl. The second round of menus will be available August 17-31 and September 14-30. Guests can enjoy a Mizuna Salad, followed by a choice of Momo Cubano, a Lobster Roll served with miso mayo, gruyere cheese on brioche bread, Soy Braised Black Cod or a Sushi Tasting. Tofu Cheesecake will be served for dessert. Dinner menu starters include Chef’s signature Tuna Pizza and Rock Shrimp Tempura, as well as a Mizuna Salad and Sushi Tasting. Guests can then choose between four entrée dishes, including Braised Black Cod, Angry Chicken, consisting of a marinated organic half chicken with roasted peppers, a Crispy Whole Fish or Ishi Yaki Wagyu Bop. Enjoy Tofu Cheesecake for dessert to complete the meal.
