I do not get out that much nowadays, even though I love a perfect dining experience, it seems that lately my day is 14+ hours of work - but the temptation is always there, and temptation came with the idea and promise of a an escape to the Italian countryside when I heard Terrazza at Shore Club.
I love this hotel, the first time I went to the Shore Club was when Miami Culinary Tours conducted a private culinary tour for the UBER team, which at that time, nobody knew what UBER was in Miami as they were just launching in the city.
Little did I know that UBER was going to be my driver forever, I do not drive anymore, I just take UBER.
Stunning garden lounge area on the walk to Terrazza restaurant in the back area of the hotel. We sat down overlooking the pool and right there I felt "this night will be special." I am careful with my food selection lately, I am a 50% vegetarian ( yep do not even ask me what that means ) but when I go out dinning, I food splurge.
To start I ordered their seafood salad. What a salad. First time I have a seafood salad that actually has more seafood than anything else as usually you get 5 pieces of seafood and greens but this salad is one I will come back for it. What I loved was that it didn't have a strong vinaigrette, the chef let the seafood do the talking.
The pasta I ordered was meat sauce fettuccine. I love the portion size. The sauce was very flavorful without being overwhelming. The pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente, just the way me and Paul love it.
You feel the best of Miami when you visit Terrazza at Shore Club, take in the breeze from the ocean overlooking the pool and get lost on their garden. This is truly a unique place in Miami Beach.
