Mondrian Welcomes Second New York-Based Pop-Up Restaurant

Pies ‘N’ Thighs, a critically praised Brooklyn-based restaurant, is coming to Miami! The pop-up Pies 'N' Thighs will serve up its signature southern fare including fried chicken and pies that The New York Times lauded as “... honest, american and sweet." Owners Sarah Sanneh and Carolyn Bane have an impressive background including stints at Magnolia Bakery, The Spotted Pig and Momofuku Milk Bar. Just in time for Art Basel Miami Beach, Pies ‘N’ Thighs will take up residence at Mondrian opening Nov. 16, 205 through Jan. 17, 2016. The restaurant will be in addition to Momo Sushi Shack, whose partnership with Mondrian South Beach is confirmed through January 2016.
