The once Brickell favorite that specialized in fresh seafood with exquisite Japanese flavors is now set to reopen on August 1st at its same location, 1040 S Miami Ave: Momi Oyster! This much-missed spot that brought Miami all different kinds of bivalves and other seafood is back with these fresh delicacies from the sea, both raw and cooked, that will be prepared to please anyone’s palate.
Momi Oyster will be offering patrons a few specials starting opening day to celebrate the re-launching of the location. All day, guests can enjoy fresh all-you-can-eat Lobster for $40 or all-you-can eat lobster AND oysters for $49.99. This Monday, opening day, pasta and seafood lovers can also indulge in Linguini served with 1 ½ lobsters during lunch for $11.99!
“Expect off-menu surprises,” said Chef Jeffrey Chen. “These items will be daily creations of mine, only to be revealed to those who ask about them.”
The reopening of this much-needed spot comes after many locals requesting its comeback, especially since the Oceanaire and other Brickell eateries closing, there was nothing to satisfy their seafood craving.
“We are reopening to provide quality food & fresh seafood. We are always looking for ways to reinvent ourselves and bring nothing but the best to enhance the neighborhood’s culinary scene,” said Chen.
