(Miami Beach, FL; December 6, 2011)- Vita by bâoli, a fixture within the dining and nightlife scene in Miami for the past three years is undergoing a major renovation, all while remaining open for guests. With the debut of the new design in January 2012, the restaurant and lounge will also take on a new name-"Bâoli-Vita". Drawing inspiration from the vibrant ambiance and energy of the highly successful Bâoli properties located in Cannes, France, the new Bâoli-Vita will feature stunning design elements including a "vanishing glass wall," grand crystal chandeliers, plush oversized banquets, a DJ booth, and more, making it most fabulous place for dinner and nightlife in Miami.
Debuting in January 2012, Bâoli-Vita will mirror the look, feel, and vibe of Le Bâoli Restaurant and Bâoli Beach-both situated along the French Rivera's gorgeous Boulevard de la Croisette. Already a popular social destination for exciting nightlife and Mediterranean cuisine in Miami, the new Bâoli-Vita will give its regular A-List crowd of musicians, athletes, and designers-including guests such as U2, Pink Floyd, Chuck Lidell, Marat Safin, Scottie Pippen, Shaggy, Christian Audigier, David Guetta, and many more-another reason to return.
"With these renovations, Bâoli-Vita in Miami will have a renewed energy that will mirror the luxurious, vibrant experience we're known for in Cannes," says Bâoli brand Owner Christophe Caucino.
"Since Christophe and Co-Founder Pierre Antoine Navaro opened the first bâoli property in Cannes, they created what is today one of the most exclusive and admired restaurant brands in the world. Our team is really proud to bring the Bâoli name to Miami," says Mathieu Massa, Bâoli-Vita Owner and Massa Investment Fund manager, who recently acquired the Bâoli license rights for that location.
Architect Charles Benson, alongside Interior Designers Nicolette Schouten from Collection Privée in Cannes and Charlotte Dugan from Atmosphere Creations in Miami, worked together to create the vision of luxury and elegance for the space, incorporating the décor, design, and beauty of the French Rivera.
A major highlight of Bâoli-Vita's redesign is the NanaWall® vanishing glass wall system, which will blend the outdoor and indoor experience by providing a unique passageway for guests to escape onto the luscious 180 seat open-air terrace. The outdoor patio will include a secluded VIP section, concealed by lush landscaping, creating the perfect setting for intimate parties.
A long corridor leading into the main space features three flat screen TVs showcasing videos of the memorable parties from the past three years as well as photographs of Bâoli-Vita's A-list patrons, highlighted with LED accent lighting. Stainless steel entry doors open up to the main dining room with lapacho plank wood flooring, grand crystal chandeliers, and seating for 100 diners. The furniture is a mix of classic brown leather chairs, purple bar stools, and oversized grey banquets. A mosaic DJ booth-which has been relocated to an elevated space inside the restaurant but remains visible to all guests-adds to the excitement of the space, with custom VIP seating, theatrical lighting, and a brand new sound system. A stunning refaced stainless steel bar acts as the centerpiece of the room and features a floor-to-ceiling glass wine rack backed with a dramatic mirror surrounded by glass subway tiles. In addition, oversized banquets will line the outer banks of the restaurant, inviting guests to escape the Miami heat and indulge in a cocktail. With no detail left unnoticed, even the bathrooms have been designed to evoke a sense of beauty, with mosaic walls, black and white tile flooring, long, narrow stainless steel trough sinks, and high mirrors in the shape of glass pendants.
"Bâoli-Vita will continue to be asought-after destination for exciting nightlife and Mediterranean cuisine in South Florida," states Bâoli-Vita's General Manager Michael Ridard. "We are eager to introduce the new look of Bâoli-Vitain Miami and raise the bar even higher in the local dining and entertainment scene."
