Miami Beach Foodie Festival

Catering to all food lovers, the Miami Beach Foodie Festival is an event being held during Miami's Food Week (February) in an effort to provide an affordable food festival in the heart of Miami Beach. Taking place on 72 street and Collins Avenue, you will have the opportunity to sample some of the best foods and from all over the world and from local purveyors in Miami Beach. According to the festival's website, what you can expect coming to this event is "Food, food, and more food." A foodie's dream, indeed. This family friendly celebration of international food will give guests the opportunity to meet and greet some of the top chefs in South Florida, enjoy a casual and inviting atmosphere, and indulge in the best culinary options our city has to offer.

Although the general admission price is a mere $40, we recommend that you splurge on the $100 VIP ticket. This offer provides you with unlimited free food and wine samplings from 1pm-6pm. On the other hand, the $40 general admission fee allows you entrance to the foodie fest and an event guide with information about all the vendors and various complimentary offers from local businesses. All entrance prices include the privilege of taking part in all the concerts, activities, dancing, and good times provided by the live music and friendly vibes. To get to the event, you can drive and park in the street, or you can take the free North Shore Trolley. Not only will this alternative source of transportation save you the hassle of looking for parking and having to walk, it will also be a safe way to head back home after a afternoon of drinking wine. Safety was an important consideration when planning the event, and this option for travel is definitely appreciated.

Coincidentally, the Miami Beach Foodie Festival takes place the same year that Miami Beach turns 100 years old. There is no better way to celebrate our unique city's birthday than indulging in tasty bites and libations while strolling directly on the beach. No need to head down to hectic South Beach for a food festival, as this event will take place in heart of Miami Beach on February 22, 2015. Tickets are more affordable as well, making it a good alternative to the somewhat pricey competition occurring elsewhere in the area. This new addition to Miami's food week is sure to be a change of pace from other events that we have become accustomed to attending. This festival is definitely something to look forward to.
