Meat Market Miami Beach

Oysters

Yuzu truffle mignonette, atomic horseradish, habanero cocktail sauce

I met my friend who only likes the splendid things in life, and so Meat Market was a good choice for us. It is an upscale restaurant on trendy Lincoln Road - and I need to add that only a few places on Lincoln Road have excellent service and good cuisine, Meat Market is one of them. If you like oyesters you will never go wrong by trying the ones at Meat Market Miami Beach. I usually do not order oysters because I hate to pay the price when I get the one that are extremely small, I like the meaty oysters and then I am fine with the price tag. All three sauces were perfectly prepared and the "atomic" horseradish was not that atomic so try it.

Cedar-Scented Hamachi

Yuzu, white truffle, lime, jalapeno

I think I had too much wine when I tried this dish, by the way, every glass that was recommended by the very attentive bartender was excellent. I wish the glasses were a bit fuller having in consideration the price tag, they serve just a bit lower than half a glass and that can be annoying for people like me and my friend that we would splurge on a $12 glass of wine but we had to order three glasses each to make up for a 2 glass on any other restaurant of the same caliber. Anyways, back to this hamachi. It was very good, fresh and well executed in my humble opinion.
