Five Days of Live Music and Visual Art at Basel House

Celebrating Miami’s Top Artist During Miami Art Basel Week

November 22, 2016 – Miami, FL – The best celebration of art is back this year with a five-day free
concert series & live art installation. Basel House is the Miami Art Basel experience you won’t want to
miss.
From 4 p.m. to 5 a.m. on November 30th
, and 12 p.m. to 5 a.m. on December 1st to December 4th,
Basel House will host a number of events showcasing local and global artists. This year, Basel House
is taking place at Bitter Truth, Midtown’s newest bar. The five-day concert will feature Miami’s top
musicians representing a variety of genres including Hip Hop, R&B and Bluesy vibes.
The musicians performing will include:
 Jay Valor, Chantil Dukart, TWYN, Speakea5y, MRKI, Electric Kif, Tricia Dade, ArtOfficial, DJ
Cami, DJ Rob Lowe, Michelangelo and Keith Johns
Live art performances include:
 Cake decorating battle with cakes provided by Lola the Baker who is recognized for her beer
and whiskey twists on classic sweets. Up for battle are artists DELVS and Gabriel Sorondo.
 Live painting by top street artists including: Jon Lee, Hermes Berrio, Luis Valle, Muro1, Luis
Berros, and Apitatan.
“Basel House has always been an event supporting home grown talent, and we’re excited to continue
that tradition by featuring Miami’s top local musicians, artists, mixologists, chefs, and bakers,” said
President of SWARM, Javi Zayas.
After a long day of Baseling, Bitter Truth is the best place to keep up the energy. Guests may choose
to enjoy a specialty cold brew coffee or coffee cocktail from the only lifestyle coffee company,
Jamming Goat. A limited edition cold brew bottle designed by artist Hermes Berrio will be available for
this event.
“We’re happy to be teaming up with Bitter Truth for this event. The bar’s vibe embodies the culture
that we want to support,” said Zayas.
