10/24-26: Chile Week Usa Brings Officials, Foods & Flavors To The Conrad Hotel

Largest Ever Delegation from Chile Offers Interview Opportunities
Related to Foods and Wines, Foreign Investment, Technology and International Trade

WHAT: The largest ever delegation of top Chilean officials arrive in Miami next week to promote Chile’s relationship with the United States. Chile Week USA will provide South Florida’s public and private sector leaders with information regarding opportunities to strengthen Chile-American ties in services and information technology, the food and wine industries, and the expanding animation and tech community. Since lifting the visa restriction for American tourists, Chile Week Miami will also serve as a launch pad for the nation’s fresh marketing campaign dubbed “Chile Open Nature” just in time for the winter travel season.

A public auction of fine Chilean wines and works from young artists including Roberto Matta, Mario Carreño, and José Balmes will benefit the programs operated by Hogar de Cristo Chile, with the goal of fighting poverty and exclusion among youth.

Tuesday, October 25

9:00 AM Trade & Investment Seminar
This exclusive business & economic seminar panel consists of prominent government officials from Chile and the United States, entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders, who will highlight the wide range of investment opportunities available in Chile.

10:00AM Wines of Chile Master Class
Wines of Chile invites the trade and press to a wine class led by Sommelier Daniel Toral featuring sixteen outstanding terroir driven wines from dynamic new producers and category pioneers.

3:30PM Chile Tourism Reception & Showcase
Tourism professionals in Miami will meet with Chilean representatives to learn more about Chile as a unique travel destination for honeymooners, outdoor enthusiasts, foodies and more!

9:00AM Women in International Business Seminar
Guests will learn about the main tools that both the Chilean public and private sectors have created in order to integrate and support women in international trade and to the production development in both countries. The seminar will conclude with a discussion group of Chilean and American businesswomen.
