La Ruota Restaurant announces their opening with a revamped cutting-edge dining scene
La Ruota Restaurant is excited to announce their grand opening to showcase a new dining experience. During lunch or dinner, guests will be able to surround themselves in a modern ambiance for authentic Italian cuisine in addition to some global fusion. Doubling in capacity, from 40-80 new diners, La Ruota has added an open kitchen, special dining rooms, custom designed bar offering an exclusive selection of beers and wines and a stage area where live music will be played Friday nights. Last week, Doral commissioners, family and friends were invited to an inaugural ribbon-cutting for the unveiling of the remodeled, chic and stylish dining room which is now open to the public.
As a local Doral resident, owner Carlos Gamero wanted to give the community a fine dining experience with a strong emphasis on execution. Carlos said,
“At La Ruota, our greatest attraction are our culinary creations, crafted with passion, imagination and only the freshest ingredients to guarantee the best flavor and quality. We want local residents and visitors to find in La Ruota everything expect from a great restaurant without having to leave Doral. Our remodeled dining room has been designed to make diners truly enjoy the moment and forget the world outside. La Ruota is the place where dining becomes a ritual of celebration and gratitude for the body and soul.”
The menu highlights classic and modern dishes that are globally inspired with a strong focus on Italian. Guests can enjoy a wide range of starters from traditional favorites like homemade Bruschetta and Burrata to a variety of vibrant and fresh Carpaccios. As an entrée, La Ruota offers a variety of steaks, seafood, risottos, homemade pastas and pizzas in addition to dishes like Risotto Al Funghi Porcini - Risotto cooked in a porcini mushroom cream sauce or Rollatini Di Vitello - Veal steak rolls filled with prosciutto di parma, smoked mozzarella cheese and vegetables that are served with a rich linguine aioli.
La Ruota features its special Fettucine alla Ruota prepared tableside in an original Grana Padano cheese wheel and flamed with fine liquors. Carlos explains it as, “an interesting, creamy and delicious spectacle.” He also suggests, “If you like coffee and chocolate, you will love our homemade Tiramisu and its perfect balance of textures and flavors that will melt in your mouth.”
Beyond the doors, La Ruota holds a new upscale lounge including a posh bar featuring flat screen TV’s and international wine and beer. Monday through Friday, happy hour specials will take place from 5-7 PM for guests to enjoy select specials on wine and beer. After 5 PM, bar diners will also be able to choose selections from an Italian-inspired tapas menu with paleo-diet friendly options. For entertainment, La Ruota will book performances including live entertainment and more on their new state area.
Lunch will be offered Monday through Friday with specials starting at $8.95. A children’s menu will also be offered for kids under the age of 12 years old. Located in Central Doral, La Ruota has an all-day menu and open for dinner every day.
La Ruota serves an eclectic menu that is internationally inspired with a strong Italian focus in a modern and chic dining room. Private rooms are available for celebrations, or corporate events. Larger groups or parties can request to speak to an event specialist to book a table in a posh and private intimate dining setting.
