December 26, 2013 (Miami, FL). Jimmy'z Kitchen restaurant in Wynwood will be celebrating its Third Anniversary in the Wynwood Arts District on Saturday, December 28th

with a "Parranda" concert starting at 7:30 pm. Chef Jimmy Carey announced with great pride the third anniversary of the opening of Jimmy'z Kitchen in the Wynwood Arts District and its celebration with a free community concert this next Saturday, December 28th. The Puerto Rican group Son D' Panderos will be playing folkloric and holiday music from La Isla del Encanto starting at 7:30 p.m. in the open plaza next to the restaurant at 2700 N. Miami Avenue, Miami, FL.

Chef Jimmy Carey, Owner of Jimmy'z Kitchen said: "We wanted to celebrate our third anniversary in the Wynwood Arts District with this community free concert of Puerto Rican music, not only to celebrate our "birthday" in the area but also to honor the Puerto Rican roots of Wynwood. The concert will be of lively Puerto Rico holidays and traditional music with a 10-man band. A true Puerto Rican Parranda in the midst of Wynwood!”

Jimmy'z Kitchen Wynwood was the second "fast casual Chef-driven concept" restaurant opened by Chef Jimmy Carey, a Johnson & Wales Culinary School graduate, on December 29, 2010. The first Jimmy'z Kitchen was opened six years ago in South Beach at 1542 Alton Road, Miami Beach,and the third Jimmy'z Kitchen was opened this past February at 9050 S. Dixie Hwy in the Dadeland / Pinecrest area. The restaurants have garnered great reviews and accolades for its fresh and healthy budget-friendly menu in a casual and contemporary environment.
