DB Bistro Moderne’s Jarrod Verbiak began working in kitchens at the ripe age of 16, where he eventually made enough of an impression on Daniel Boulud himself for him to take the young chef around the world gaining inspiration and experience. Eight years later, Verbiak was running the kitchen at Miami’s installation of the highly acclaimed db Bistro Moderne, Daniel Boulud’s pride and joy. At this establishment, was a semi-finalist for the Rising Star Chef award (2012).
